ABOUT US
Established in 2006, Beit HaDerekh is a Messianic congregation in West Texas. We are mostly non-Jews who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and Yeshua (Jesus of Nazareth) as the Jewish Messiah and the Savior of the world.
We are somewhat unique in that we are Pro-Yeshua, pro-Torah, Pro-Chazal (Rabbis), Pro-Israel, Pro-Temple. When all of these concepts are understood in context, they all fit together perfectly.
We believe our mission is to be on the cutting edge of pushing the Geulah (Redemption) forward.
Our goal is to proclaim God’s love and the message of salvation in the name of Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, as found in the Bible, and to be used by God to transform lives and break the bonds of sin.
We have come out of many different denominational and religious backgrounds. We are committed to the Torah and Besorah (Gospel) of the Messiah, which brings restoration of the soul and tikkun olam (repair of the world).
We meet each Shabbat (Saturday) at 10:30am for a time of prayer, worship, teaching and fellowship. Following our service each Shabbat, we gather for a fellowship meal called Oneg, which means the “pleasure or joy” of the Sabbath.
The Scriptures teach that we are to “love HaShem your God with all your heart, soul, and might and your neighbor as yourself.” (Dt 6:5, Lev 19:18)
